When life is especially hard and when relationships get stuck, it can seem that we or others are problems to be fixed. My experience and conviction are that people are rarely the problem and that solutions are created when couples and families unite against problems. My primary role at the clinic is supervising new therapists for licensure.
My doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy was completed at Brigham Young University after receiving a master’s degree and clinical training in the state of Washington.
I served as a member of the Utah State Licensing Board for Marriage and Family Therapy for eight years.
I was president of the Utah Association for Marriage and Family Therapy,
For six years I was an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University.
