My Philosophy

The relationships that are most important often cause us the most pain. My work focuses on helping clients better understand themselves and strengthen their most important relationships. We explore how patterns developed, why certain triggers feel so intense, and how to respond differently without abandoning yourself in the process. I specialize in working with couples and families of adults (including those navigating the pain and complexity of estrangement). I also work with individuals needing guidance as they move through major life transitions with clarity and confidence.

I have 4 adult kids, and I’ve personally experienced divorce, remarriage, and blending families. I know firsthand how quickly family systems can become complicated, and I also know that growth, healing, and meaningful connection are possible. I despise black/white thinking and prefer to live in the gray, where everyone's experiences are valid.

My office is a place where you can speak freely and explore hard truths without shame, judgment, or pressure. If you’re navigating relationship strain, family disconnection, identity shifts, or a season of change, I'll help you work toward change that actually lasts.

I see clients in both the Spanish Fork and Sandy offices, as well as online over Telehealth.
