“The most important confidence to have is confidence in your ability to persevere in the face of opposition.” - Dr. Jennifer Finlayson-Fife
Life is all about opposition. Whether it comes from external circumstances or the natural growth process, we all reach moments where things need to change. We can’t or won’t go back to the way things were. The pressure of that critical space can be deeply distressing, often pushing us to unhelpful ways of coping and relating to those we love most. Sometimes, we need someone to see things with a fresh perspective, to help us identify our strengths and put them to good use, and to open our eyes to our blind spots that are holding us back from the healing and progress we’re longing for.
My goal in working with clients is to connect them with their best selves - the wise person within each of us that knows our values, tolerates the truth about who we are, and courageously uses that knowledge as a catalyst to personal and relational growth. As we do so, we begin to move through the ups and downs of life with more integrity and patience.
Whether your presenting issue is personal or relational in nature, healing and connection are possible. You are resilient. There is a way through.
