Our relationships with ourselves and the people around us affect every aspect of our lives.
When you examine your relationships, do you struggle to be the most effective and authentic you? Do you long for improved communication and connection with your children or other loved ones? Would you like to feel more authentic in your social relationships?
My goal is to help people identify what is happening within themselves and within their closest relationships. I help individuals and families feel more effective in changing the patterns that are keeping them from building joyful and resilient relationships.
I use a family systems-based approach in therapy with individuals, couples and families. I work with clients to explore how their early attachment system and family dynamics play a part in their current relational patterns. In addition to family systems theory, I use trauma-informed models like EMDR and ACT to help people build the tools they need to work through difficult life experiences that may be interfering in their relationships and peaceful living.
As a therapist, I use a very personal and collaborative process that is tailored to my client's individual needs. My goal is to help my clients understand themselves by identifying and magnifying their strengths. As they explore the more difficult areas of their lives, they are able to improve themselves and their relationships.
